What are the three most important skills a student should acquire prior to graduation?

Question for a job application...I have 2 out of 3 things, but I'm not sure if I'm answering the question. Any thoughts? What are the three most important skills a student should acquire prior to graduation? How do you address those areas in your class?

  1. You learn how to follow instructions and carry out a problem's solution in the methods taught to you. [Any math class would be good for this.] You learn communication skills that will help you in any field of work. [English composition, speech & communication classes, etc.] Third one? I don't know... learn how to work independently or in a group... learn how to follow through with a long term commitment to one organization... learn how to use previous cases to influence your current decisions... learn Spanish? Learn to bowl? Learn how to party? Good luck!
  2. 1. Communication 2. Decision Making Skills 3. Analytical Skills Great leaders possess all three, but I emphasize communication. Can't do anything without it; oral and written, and comprehension.
