What cheer leading skills are needed to make the team?

When you cheer lead what are some major skills you have to have? What are some tips to learn these skills in 5 months?

1. Try to be able to jumo out of bed and be hyper right away. My mom is a coach for a team and they need to be able to be hyper right away. If you cheer at games,you have to cheer for a long time! And be creative. Go team is old. Try something new!
2. Be able to do your jumps and kicks. Hurkeys and Toe touches are pretty important. Have good dancing skills and are able to learn fast. Be a team player. Good Luck!! :]
3. It's different for different schools but you need to have good jumps (exspecialy toetouches) , you need to have strong arm motions, It helps if you can tumble (backhandspring), and you will need to know how to stunt. Good luck on making the team! Don't be nervous and smile a lot around the coaches.
